This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against HOXC6. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: HOXC6 belongs to the homeobox family, members of which encode a highly conserved family of transcription factors that play an important role in morphogenesis in all multicellular organisms. Mammals possess four similar homeobox gene clusters, HOXA, HOXB, HOXC and HOXD, which are located on different chromosomes and consist of 9 to 11 genes arranged in tandem. This gene, HOXC6, is one of several HOXC genes located in a cluster on chromosome 12. Three genes, HOXC5, HOXC4 and HOXC6, share a 5' non-coding exon. Transcripts may include the shared exon spliced to the gene-specific exons, or they may include only the gene-specific exons. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for HOXC6. Transcript variant two includes the shared exon, and transcript variant one includes only gene-specific exons. This gene belongs to the homeobox family, members of which encode a highly conserved family of transcription factors that play an important role in morphogenesis in all multicellular organisms. Product Notes

The HOXC6 hoxc6 (Catalog #AAA3224677) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HOXC6 antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HOXC6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HOXC6 hoxc6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: KIWFQNRRMK WKKESNLTST LSGGGGGATA DSLGGKEEKR EETEEEKQKE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HOXC6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
