Applicable Applications for anti-GM-CSF antibody
ELISA (EIA), Functional Assays (FN), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
ELISA: Maximum Dilution: 0.5 ug/ml
Functional Assays: Minimum Dilution: 12ng/ml; Maximum Dilution: 20ng/ml
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.1ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 0.2ug/ml
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. MyBioSource recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. NB: For functional studies do not add azide.
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse GM-CSF
Buffer Solution
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to mouse GM-CSF were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Target Species
Mouse
Preparation and Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. Following reconstitution store at -20 degree C. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
Related Product Information for anti-GM-CSF antibody
Rabbit anti Mouse GM-CSF antibody recognizes mouse granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), a haematopoietic growth factor which exists in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated biologically active forms and stimulates the development of granulocytes, macrophages, early megakaryocytes and eosinophil progenitor cells. The ability of recombinant GM-CSF to increase haematopoietic cell recovery has become a focus area in the therapeutic treatment of patients following bone marrow transplantation.

Product Notes

The GM-CSF csf2 (Catalog #AAA221253) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's GM-CSF can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Functional Assays (FN), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: Maximum Dilution: 0.5 ug/ml Functional Assays: Minimum Dilution: 12ng/ml; Maximum Dilution: 20ng/ml Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.1ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 0.2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GM-CSF csf2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GM-CSF, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
