Rabbit anti-Human GHRH Polyclonal Antibody | anti-GHRH antibody
GHRH Antibody (N-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(GHRH Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the GHRH antibody detected the GHRH protein (arrow).)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of GHRH Antibody (N-term) with 293 cell followed by Alexa Fluor??488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma tissue reacted with GHRH antibody (N-term) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the glucagon family and is a preproprotein that is produced in the hypothalamus. The preproprotein is cleaved to form a 44 aa factor, also called somatocrinin, that acts to stimulate growth hormone release from the pituitary. Variant receptors for somatocrinin have been found in several types of tumors, and antagonists of these receptors can inhibit the growth of the tumors. Defects in this gene are a cause of dwarfism, while hypersecretion of the encoded protein is a cause of gigantism. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The GHRH ghrh (Catalog #AAA9200997) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 8-34. The GHRH Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GHRH can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GHRH ghrh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GHRH, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
