Rabbit eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-Eif6 antibody
Rabbit anti-human eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6 polyclonal Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a eukaryotic translation initiation factor that regulates both ribosome biogenesis and translation, which are rate-limiting factors for cell growth. The encoded protein binds 60S ribosomes and prevents their association with 40S ribosomes. This gene may play a role in oncogenesis as well. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description
EIF6: eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6. Binds to the 60S ribosomal subunit and prevents its association with the 40S ribosomal subunit to form the 80S initiation complex.

Product Notes
The Eif6 eif6 (Catalog #AAA714546) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-human eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6 polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Eif6 eif6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "eukaryotic translation initiation factor 6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
