Goat anti Pig CXCL9 antibody recognizes pig CXCL9, otherwise known as MIG (monokine induced by interferon-gamma). CXCL9 is a member of the C-X-C family of chemokine receptors, secreted by interferon gamma stimulated monocytes, macrophages (Mller, M. et al. 2010) and endothelial cells (Loos, T. et al. 2006).
CXCL9 acts as a Th1 (type 1 helper T) cell chemoattractant, and plays a role in the growth, activation and movement of cells associated with tumor growth inhibition and angiogenesis (Whiting, D. et al. 2004).
