Related Product Information for CXCL9 elisa kit
Principle of the assay: human CXCL9 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for CXCL9 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (E.coli,T23-T125) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for CXCL9 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human CXCL9 amount of sample captured in plate.
Background: Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 9 (CXCL9) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also known as Monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG). CXCL9 is a T-cell chemoattractant, which is induced by IFN-gamma. It is closely related to two other CXC chemokines called CXCL10 and CXCL11, whose genes are located near the gene for CXCL9 on human chromosome 4.1, 2 CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 all elicit their chemotacticfunctions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CXCR3.3 The standard product used in this kit is recombinanthuman CXCL9, consisting of 103 amino acids with the molecular mass of 11.7KDa.

NCBI Description

This antimicrobial gene encodes a protein thought to be involved in T cell trafficking. The encoded protein binds to C-X-C motif chemokine 3 and is a chemoattractant for lymphocytes but not for neutrophils. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Human CXCL9 cxcl9 (Catalog #AAA176008) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA176008 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CXCL9. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL9, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
