Applicable Applications for anti-Xpnpep1 antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Neutralization
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, ELISA and Neutralization.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit is ~10ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml immunoprecipitates recombinant human X-prolyl aminopeptidase from conditioned cell medium.
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit is ~1ng/well.
Neutralization: Inhibits/neutralizes the enzymatic activity of recombinant human X-prolyl aminopeptidase. X1049-56A was preincubated with the enzyme at different molar ratios at RT for 30 minutes. The enzyme was then assayed with K(Abz)PP-pNA. 50% of the proteolytic activity was inhibited by X1049-56A at ~1.5ug/ml (IC50) under conditions in which the enzyme was present at 2ug/ml and the substrate concentration was 0.05mM. Considering the molecular masses of the enzyme (72kD) and the antibody (150kD), IC50 was achieved at ~1:2 molar ratio of the antibody to the enzyme.
Immunogen
NS0-derived recombinant human X-prolyl aminopeptidase (aa23-650, Accession #O43895).
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The Xpnpep1 xpnpep1 (Catalog #AAA600856) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The X-prolyl aminopeptidase (aminopeptidase P, 2 Aminoacylproline aminopeptidase, mAmP, Membrane-bound aminopeptidase P, Membrane-bound AmP, Membrane-bound APP, Xaa-Pro aminopeptidase 2 precursor, X-Pro aminopeptidase 2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's X-prolyl aminopeptidase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Neutralization. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Xpnpep1 xpnpep1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "X-prolyl aminopeptidase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
