Related Product Information for anti-TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2 antibody
The TCR Vb 8 family consists of three members, namely Vb8.1, 8.2 and 8.3. This antibody reacts with Vb8.1, 8.2 only, but not Vb8.3. Most mouse strains have about 20% Vb 8+ T cells in the periphery. However, C57BR, C57L, SJL, SWR (Tcra haplotype) and RIII strains (Tcrc haplotype) do not express Vb8 due to a gene deletion at the Vb 8 family loci. Other strains expressing endogenous super-antigen, such as Mls-1a have significant reduced number of Vb 8.1 cells in the periphery. Exogenous superantigen, such as staphylococcal enterotoxin B, stimulates lymphocytes bearing Vb 8 and selectively eliminate those T cells in vivo.

Product Notes

The TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2 (Catalog #AAA642143) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2 (T Cell Receptor Vb8.1, 8.2 Chain, T Cell Receptor) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCR, V beta 8.1, 8.2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
