Reactivity
Chicken, Zebrafish, Pig, Rabbit, Rat, Human, Monkey
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG1
Clone Number
HHF35
Specificity
Reacts with both alpha-muscle and gamma-smooth muscle actin, and therefore reacts with skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, vascular and visceral smooth muscle cells, pericytes and myoepithelial cells. It is also reactive in myofibroblasts. It does not react with epithelial, endothelial, neural or normal connective tissue cells when applied under the proper conditions to these tissue sections. The epitope recognized by HHF35 is highly conserved. Therefore the antibody cross-reacts with several species including human, monkey, swine, rabbit, rat, chicken and zebrafish.

Product Notes

The IgG1 (Catalog #AAA249422) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Muscle Actin Antibody (clone HHF35) IHC-plus reacts with Chicken, Zebrafish, Pig, Rabbit, Rat, Human, Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Muscle Actin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Electron Microscopy. IHC-Fr (1:200 - 1:1000) IHC-P (5 ug/ml) WB (1:1000 - 1:5000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Muscle Actin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
