Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow cytometric analysis of Human LILRA3(CD85e) expression on human whole blood monocytes. The cells were treated according to manufacturer's manual (BD Pharmingen'), stained with FITC-conjugated anti-Human LILRA3(CD85e). The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of viable monocytes.)

Related Product Information for anti-LILRA3 antibody
ILT6, also known as LILRA3, belongs to the ILT family. In humans, the ILT gene family includes up to 11 members. The extracellular portion of all members includes at least two and usually four immunoglobulin domains. ILT-2 through 5 are all inhibitory members having variable numbers of cytoplasmic ITIM domains. ILT6 lacks a transmembrane domain. The function of ILT6 is currently unknown. however it is highly homologous to other LILR genes, and can bind human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I. Therefore, if secreted, the ILT6 might impair interactions of membrane-bound LILRs (such as LILRB1, an inhibitory receptor expressed on effector and memory CD8 T cells) with their HLA ligands, thus modulating immune reactions and influencing susceptibility to disease.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of a family of immunoreceptors that are expressed predominantly in monocytes and B cells, and at lower levels in dendritic cells and natural killer cells. The encoded protein lacks the transmembrane region found in other members of this family. It acts as a soluble receptor for class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) antigens. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found. This gene is located in a cluster of related genes on chromosome 19 and is polymorphic in human populations, with many individuals containing a deletion of this genomic region. Product Notes

The LILRA3 (Catalog #AAA8106996) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Anti-LILRA3 Antibody (FITC), Rabbit Monoclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LILRA3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS/FCM). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LILRA3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LILRA3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
