Mouse anti-Human, Mouse HIRA Monoclonal Antibody | anti-HIRA antibody
HIRA antibody (mAb)(Clone WC119.2H11)
WB: 1-2ug/ml dilution
For optimal results, we recommend the addition of 0.05% Tween-20 to all blocking solutions to reduce background in Western blot.
Background: HIRA (DGCR1, TUP1) is a histone chaperone that preferentially places the variant Histone H3.3 in nucleosomes, replacing canonical Histone H3 during the cell cycle. HIRA is required for the periodic repression of histone gene transcription during the cell cycle and when complexed with ASF1a is involved in the formation of the senescence-associated heterochromatin foci.

Product Notes
The HIRA (Catalog #AAA388476) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HIRA antibody (mAb)(Clone WC119.2H11) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HIRA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB). Applications Validated: WB: 1-2ug/ml dilution For optimal results, we recommend the addition of 0.05% Tween-20 to all blocking solutions to reduce background in Western blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HIRA for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HIRA, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
