Related Product Information for anti-Gp83 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the ADAMs family of zinc proteases. These transmembrane proteins play roles in multiple processes including cell signaling, adhesion and migration. The encoded protein lacks protease activity and may play roles in protein-protein interactions and cell adhesion processes including sperm-egg fusion. Mutations in this gene may be involved in the progression of melanoma. May play an important role in male reproduction including sperm maturation and gonadotrope function. This is a non catalytic metalloprotease-like protein.

Product Notes

The Gp83 adam7 (Catalog #AAA3014472) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Gp83 Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Gp83 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:1,000 ICC: 1:50-1:200 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Gp83 adam7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Gp83, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
