Alanine Glyoxylate Aminotransferase 2 Recombinant Protein | AGXT2 recombinant protein
Recombinant Alanine Glyoxylate Aminotransferase 2 (AGXT2)
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a class III pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent mitochondrial aminotransferase. It catalyzes the conversion of glyoxylate to glycine using L-alanine as the amino donor. It is an important regulator of methylarginines and is involved in the control of blood pressure in kidney. Polymorphisms in this gene affect methylarginine and beta-aminoisobutyrate metabolism, and are associated with carotid atherosclerosis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Product Notes
The AGXT2 agxt2 (Catalog #AAA2034196) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Alanine Glyoxylate Aminotransferase 2 (AGXT2) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Alanine Glyoxylate Aminotransferase 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AGXT2 agxt2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alanine Glyoxylate Aminotransferase 2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
