Mouse anti-Human GOT1 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-GOT1 antibody
GOT1 antibody
Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Western Blot (WB)
(The cell lysate (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human GOT1 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1 : A427 cell lysate )
Western Blot (WB)
(The recombinat proteins (100ng) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human GOT1 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1 : Recombinant human GOT1 Lane 2 : Recombinant human GOT2)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Biosynthesis of L-glutamate from L-aspartate or L-cysteine. Important regulator of levels of glutamate, the major excitatory neurotransmitter of the vertebrate central nervous system. Acts as a scavenger of glutamate in brain neuroprotection. The aspartate aminotransferase activity is involved in hepatic glucose synthesis during development and in adipocyte glyceroneogenesis. Using L-cysteine as substrate, regulates levels of mercaptopyruvate, an important source of hydrogen sulfide. Mercaptopyruvate is converted into H2S via the action of 3-mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase (3MST). Hydrogen sulfide is an important synaptic modulator and neuroprotectant in the brain.

Product Notes
The GOT1 got1 (Catalog #AAA200451) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GOT1 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GOT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis, Flow cytometry and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GOT1 got1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GOT1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
