Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a subunit of the lactate dehydrogenase enzyme, which catalyzes the reversible conversion of lactate to pyruvate in the glycolytic pathway. This protein is one of two lactate dehydrogenase subunits that combine to form five distinct isozymes with different kinetic parameters. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1 and 19. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants that encode multiple isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2014]
Uniprot Description
LDH-B: an enzyme that participates in the final step of anaerobic glycolysis. Catalyzes the conversion of (S)-lactate + NAD+ into pyruvate + NADH.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Lactate Dehydrogenase B (LDHB), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
