Isotype
Mouse IgG1, kappa
Clone Number
Ki-4
Specificity
The antibody binds to CD30.
Purity/Purification
Protein A Affinity Purified
Applicable Applications for CD30 recombinant antibody
ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Inhibit
Application Notes
The antibody binds specifically to CD30, a cell membrane protein which belongs to the tumour necrosis factor receptor family. Incubation of CD30 positive L540 cells with Ki-3 antibody completely inhibits release of soluble CD30 (in contrast to Ki-3). CD30 is expressed on activated lymphocytes, and binding by its ligands TRAF2 and TRAF5 results in the activation of NF-kappaB, thereby regulating gene expression. CD30 is also associated with Hodgkin Lymphoma, and its expression acts as a tumour marker. Targeting the CD30 antigen with specific monoclonal antibodies is a possible therapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Buffer Composition
PBS only with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Immunogen
Human CD30.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for up to 3 months. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C.

Product Notes

The CD30 (Catalog #AAA488204) is a Recombinant Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD30 [Ki-4] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD30 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Inhibit. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD30 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD30, Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
