Human Ras-Related Protein Rab-5C (RAB5C) ELISA Kit | RAB5C elisa kit
Human Ras-Related Protein Rab-5C (RAB5C) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: Members of the Rab protein family are small GTPases of the Ras superfamily that are thought to ensure fidelity in the process of docking and/or fusion of vesicles with their correct acceptor compartment. Han et al. (1996) isolated fetal lung cDNAs encoding a RAB protein that they designated RABL (RAB5-like). The predicted 216-amino acid RABL protein shares 86% identity with RAB5A and RAB5B and contains the conserved GTP-binding site characteristic of RAS proteins. RT-PCR analysis revealed that RABL is expressed ubiquitously. By analysis of cloned segments, Albertsen et al. (1994) determined that the RABL gene, which they called BC1-16, is located in the BRCA1 gene region on chromosome 17q12-q21. Han et al. (1996) refined the map position to 17q21.2 using FISH.

Product Notes
The Human RAB5C rab5c (Catalog #AAA9714653) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9714653 ELISA Kit recognizes Human RAB5C. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ras-Related Protein Rab-5C (RAB5C), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
