Human Disks Large-Associated Protein 5 (DLGAP5) ELISA Kit | DLGAP5 elisa kit
Human Disks Large-Associated Protein 5 (DLGAP5) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: DLG7 is a kinetochore protein that stabilizes microtubules in vicinity of chromosomes. DLG7 controls spindle dynamics, promotes interkinetochore tension and efficient kinetochore capture. DGL7 is a part of Ran-dependent complex. Stabilization of DGL7 in cell occurs due to phosphorylation by Aurora A kinase. Expression of DGL7 is found in cancer and stem cells. The sequences of the remaining 20 genes were entirely new, and characteristic protein motifs or domains were identified in 32 genes. Other sequence features noted were that the coding sequences of 23 genes were followed by relatively long stretches of 3'-untranslated sequences and that 5 genes contained repetitive sequences in their 3'-untranslated regions. The chromosomal location of these genes has been determined.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
DLG7: a cell cycle regulator that may play a role in carcinogenesis. Elevated levels of expression detected in the G2/M phase of synchronized cultures of HeLa cells. Required for chromosome congression and alignment. Stabilizes mitotic microtubules, promotes microtubule polymerization and controls spindle formation and dynamics Mitotic phosphoprotein regulated by the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Interacts with CDC2 and localizes to the spindle poles in mitotic cells. Interacts with the C-terminal proline-rich region of FBXO7. Recruited by FBXO7 to a SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box) protein complex in a CDC2/Cyclin B-phosphorylation dependent manner. Colocalizes with E-cadherin (CDH1) at sites of cell-cell contact in intestinal epithelial cells. Key regulator of adherens junction integrity and differentiation that may be involved in CDH1-mediated adhesion and signaling in epithelial cells. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The Human DLGAP5 dlgap5 (Catalog #AAA9715684) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715684 ELISA Kit recognizes Human DLGAP5. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Disks Large-Associated Protein 5 (DLGAP5), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
