Chlortetracycline is a tetracyclines antibiotic, also called chlortetracycline. It has inhibitory effect on gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria, and can be used to treat diseases such as Pullorum Diseases of poultry, and it can also be used as a growth-promoting agent. Excessive use of such drugs can lead to high-concentration drug residues in animal products, leading to increased bacterial resistance in the body and inhibiting the development of bones and teeth. The European Union (EU) and Australia set the maximum residue limit (MRL)of trimethoprim in muscle to 100ppb, and China and Canada limit the maximum residue limit (MRL)of trimethoprim in muscle to 200ppb.
