Doxycycline is a Tetracyclines drug that kills many pathogenic microorganisms that are difficult to kill by other antibiotics. It is widely used in the treatment and prevention of diseases (mycoplasma infection, brucellosis) and promoting growth. However, excessive use of such drugs can lead to high-concentration drug residues in animal products, which can bind to calcium in bones, inhibit the development of bones and teeth, cause bacterial resistance in the body, and affect the health of consumers. The European Union (EU) and China set the maximum residue limit (MRL) of doxycycline in muscle to 100ppb.
