According to previous study on SARS CoV, N5 fragment can react with all SARS positive serum with much lower non-specific interactions with negative serum. These properties probably make the N5 fragment more suitable to the IVD applications.
Preparation and Storage
For long term storage, store at -20~-70 degree C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. 2019-nCoV N protein and its fragments are not stable and prone to aggregate at RT and 4 degree C.
