Related Product Information for HSP10 blocking peptide
The heat shock proteins (HSPs) comprise a group of highly conserved, abundantly expressed proteins with diverse functions, including the assembly and sequestering of multiprotein complexes, transportation of nascent polypeptide chains across cellular membranes and regulation of protein folding. Heat shock proteins (also known as molecular chaperones) fall into six general families: HSP 90, HSP 70, HSP 60, the low molecular weight HSPs, the immunophilins and the HSP 110 family. The low molecular weight family includes HSP 10, HSP 20, HSP 27 (Heme Oxygenase 1), HSP 32 and HSP 40. Chaperonins are ubiquitous, indispensable proteins that facilitate protein folding in an ATP-dependent manner, enhancing the yield of properly folded substrate protein under conditions where spontaneous folding does not occur. Chaperonins are typified by the E. coli heat-shock proteins GroEL and GroES (HSP 10). HSP 10 is a heptameric ring of identical 10 kDa subunits that binds to each end of GroEL to form a symmetric, functional heterodimer.

Product Notes

The HSP10 hspe1 (Catalog #AAA3000605) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's HSP10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HSP10 hspe1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HSP10, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
