Related Product Information for IL-5 active protein
IL-5, also known as interleukin-5, is a member of the hematopoietin receptor superfamily and is comprised of a cytokine-specific alpha chain and the common beta chain that is shared among these cytokines for signaling. Through binding to the IL-5 receptor, IL-5 stimulates B cell growth and increases immunoglobulin secretion. It related hematopoietic cytokines that are important for allergic inflammation. It is a lineage-specific cytokine for eosinophilpoiesis and plays an important part in diseases associated with increased eosinophils, such as asthma. Recombinant canine IL-5, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques

Product Notes

The IL-5 il5 (Catalog #AAA201298) is an Active Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 22-134aa. AAA Biotech's IL-5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Bioactivity. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-5 il5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: VENPMNRLVA ETLTLLSTHR TWLIGDGNLM IPTPENKNHQ LCIKEVFQGI DTLKNQTAHG EAVDKLFQNL SLIKEHIERQ KKRCAGERWR VTKFLDYLQV FLGVINTEWT PES. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-5, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
