Human Myelin Transcription Factor 1-Like Protein (MYT1L) ELISA Kit | MYT1L elisa kit
Human Myelin Transcription Factor 1-Like Protein (MYT1L) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: MYT1L encodes a member of the zinc finger superfamily of transcription factors. T Myelin transcription factor 1-like protein belongs to a novel class of cystein-cystein-histidine-cystein zinc finger proteins that function in the developing mammalian central nervous system. Forced expression of this gene in combination with the basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor NeuroD1 and the transcription factors POU class 3 homeobox 2 and achaete-scute family basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor 1 can convert fetal and postnatal human fibroblasts into induced neuronal cells, which are able to generate action potentials. Mutations in MYT1L have been associated with autosomal mental retardation-39 and autism spectrum disorder. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the zinc finger superfamily of transcription factors whose expression, thus far, has been found only in neuronal tissues. The encoded protein belongs to a novel class of cystein-cystein-histidine-cystein zinc finger proteins that function in the developing mammalian central nervous system. Mutations in this gene have been associated with an autosomal dominant form of cognitive disability and with autism spectrum disorder. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants. Product Notes
The Human MYT1L myt1l (Catalog #AAA9715065) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715065 ELISA Kit recognizes Human MYT1L. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Myelin Transcription Factor 1-Like Protein (MYT1L), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
