Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse LGALS3BP Polyclonal Antibody | anti-LGALS3BP antibody
Anti-LGALS3BP Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins implicated in modulating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. LGALS3BP has been found elevated in the serum of patients with cancer and in those infected by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It appears to be implicated in immune response associated with natural killer (NK) and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cell cytotoxicity. Using fluorescence in situ hybridization the full length 90K cDNA has been localized to chromosome 17q25. The native protein binds specifically to a human macrophage-associated lectin known as Mac-2 and also binds galectin 1. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The LGALS3BP lgals3bp (Catalog #AAA8248212) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-LGALS3BP Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LGALS3BP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1/500 - 1/2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LGALS3BP lgals3bp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LGALS3BP, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
