Related Product Information for anti-TAX1BP3 antibody
Tax interacting protein 1 (TIP-1, also known as Tax1BP3) is a molecular target that enables the selective binding of the HVGGSSV peptide within irradiated xenograft tumors. Genetic analysis revealed a homozygous missense mutation in TAX1BP3, which encodes a small PDZ domain-containing protein implicated in the regulation of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, as the causative mutation. The mutation affects a conserved residue located at the core of the TAX1BP3 binding pocket and is predicted to impair the nature of a crucial hydrophobic patch, thereby interrupting the structure and stability of the protein, and its ability to interact with other proteins. TAX1BP3 is highly expressed in the heart and brain. Tax1bp3 inhibited the proliferation of colon cancer cells by antagonizing the transcriptional activity of beta-catenin.

Product Notes

The TAX1BP3 (Catalog #AAA8109600) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TAX1BP3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TAX1BP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TAX1BP3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TAX1BP3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
