Related Product Information for anti-PSMA4 antibody
PSMA4 (Proteasome 20S Subunit Alpha 4) is a Protein Coding gene. The PSMA4 gene, located on 15q25.1, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, cow, mouse, and rat, etc. This gene encodes a core alpha subunit of the 20S proteasome, which is a highly ordered ring-shaped structure composed of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits. PSMA4 is widely expressed in the appendix, lymph node, and other tissues. Diseases associated with PSMA4 include Cystic Fibrosis and Angelman Syndrome. Genome-wide association studies have linked the chromosome 15q25.1 locus to lung cancer susceptibility and implicated proteasome subunit alpha type-4 (PSMA4) as a candidate gene. The related pathways of PSMA4 are Regulation of activated PAK-2p34 by proteasome-mediated degradation and Antigen processing-Cross presentation.

Product Notes

The PSMA4 (Catalog #AAA8108080) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PSMA4 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PSMA4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IP: 1-5uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PSMA4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PSMA4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
