Related Product Information for anti-MIS12 antibody
MIS12 (MIS12 Kinetochore Complex Component) is a Protein Coding gene. The MIS12 gene, located on 17p13.2, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. Mis12 is evolutionarily conserved from yeast to human. MIS12 is part of the MIS12 complex which is required for normal chromosome alignment and segregation and kinetochore formation during mitosis. The Mis12 complex forms the central scaffold of the kinetochore and serves to bridge the chromatin and microtubule-binding activities of the inner and outer layers, respectively. MIS12 is widely expressed in the thyroid, lymph node, and other tissues. Diseases associated with MIS12 include Tick-Borne Relapsing Fever and Microcephaly 4, Primary, Autosomal Recessive.

Product Notes

The MIS12 (Catalog #AAA8109638) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MIS12 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MIS12 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IP: 1-5uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MIS12 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MIS12, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
