Mouse
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG
Clone Number
8A4
Specificity
This antibody recognizes the structurally related amino acid sequence epitopes … PISRP… and ….PITKP that occur in the two proteoglycan tandem repeat motifs of cartilage LP. This antibody can be used to detect intact LP 1,2 & 3 as well as a large number of smaller fragments that are generated through proteolytic cleavage during LP catabolism. It recognizes LP in all animal species from chicken to humans.
Purity/Purification
Affinity purified
Form/Format
Clear liquid; PBS, no preservatives
Concentration
0.1 mg/mL (varies by lot)
Sequence Length
354
Applicable Applications for anti-HAPLN1 antibody
Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Radioimmunoassay (RIA)
Immunogen
Link Protein from Bovine nasal cartilage
Technical Notes
No enzyme pretreatment required, however chondroitinase and hyaluronidase will increase antibody sensitivity by exposing epitopes. For WB chondroitinase and hyaluronidase treatment is recommended.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C.

Product Notes

The HAPLN1 hapln1 (Catalog #AAA442005) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Cartilage Link Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Radioimmunoassay (RIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HAPLN1 hapln1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cartilage Link Protein, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
