Goat Ide Polyclonal Antibody | anti-Ide antibody
Goat anti-Ide (mouse) Antibody
Western Blot: Approx 110kDa band observed in Mouse Brain and Rat Brain lysates (calculated MW of 118kDa according to NP_112419.2). Recommended concentration: 1-3ug/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 30kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
IDE: Plays a role in the cellular breakdown of insulin, IAPP, glucagon, bradykinin, kallidin and other peptides, and thereby plays a role in intercellular peptide signaling. Degrades amyloid formed by APP and IAPP. May play a role in the degradation and clearance of naturally secreted amyloid beta-protein by neurons and microglia. Belongs to the peptidase M16 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Ide ide (Catalog #AAA421113) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-Ide (mouse) Antibody reacts with Tested: Mouse, Rat; Expected from sequence similarity: Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ide can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 16000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Ide ide for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: QQYNYDRDNI E. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ide, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
