Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse FOXO1 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse FOXO1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse FOXO1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse FOXO1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse FOXO1. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse FOXO1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the forkhead/winged-helix family of transcriptional regulators. Defects in this gene are the cause of immunodeficiency polyendocrinopathy, enteropathy, X-linked syndrome (IPEX), also known as X-linked autoimmunity-immunodeficiency syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Mouse FXOP3 foxp3 (Catalog #AAA2510062) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2510062 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse FXOP3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXP3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
