Guinea Pig FOXP3 ELISA Kit | FOXP3 elisa kit
Guinea pig FOXP3 (Forkhead Box Protein P3) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Guinea pig FOXP3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and bound by the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Guinea pig FOXP3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Guinea pig FOXP3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Guinea pig FOXP3. You can calculate the concentration of Guinea pig FOXP3 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the forkhead/winged-helix family of transcriptional regulators. Defects in this gene are the cause of immunodeficiency polyendocrinopathy, enteropathy, X-linked syndrome (IPEX), also known as X-linked autoimmunity-immunodeficiency syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The Guinea Pig FOXP3 foxp3 (Catalog #AAA2513311) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2513311 ELISA Kit recognizes Guinea Pig FOXP3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXP3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
