A DNA sequence encoding the Sudan ebolavirus(strain Gulu) VP40 (YP_138522.1)(Met1-Lys326) was expressed with a N-terminal polyhistidine-tagged MBP tag at the N-terminus (his-MBP).
Preparation and Storage

The octamer form binds RNA, and may play a role in genome replication ().
