Related Product Information for 2-APB small molecule
2-APB is a chemical that acts to inhibit IP3 receptors (1) and TRP channels (2). It is used to manipulate intracellular release of calcium ions and modify TRP channel activity. There is also evidence that 2-APB acts directly to inhibit gap junctions made of connexin26 or connexin32 (3).

Product Notes

The 2-APB (Catalog #AAA808021) is a Small Molecule produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "2-APB, Small Molecule" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
