Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein Recombinant Protein | SNRPD3 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein Polypeptide D3
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Introduction: SNRPD3 is a small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNPs) that contains the spliceosome in eukaryotes. SNRPD3 is essential for pre-mRNA splicing and small nuclear ribonucleoprotein biogenesis. Alternative splicing happens in this locus and two transcript variants encoding the same protein were branded.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a core component of the spliceosome, which is a nuclear ribonucleoprotein complex that functions in pre-mRNA splicing. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]
Uniprot Description
snRNP D3: Appears to function in the U7 snRNP complex that is involved in histone 3'-end processing. Binds to the downstream cleavage product (DCP) of histone pre-mRNA in a U7 snRNP dependent manner. Belongs to the snRNP core protein family.
