Rat Glycoprotein 39 ELISA Kit
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Rat CYP450 antibody. CYP450 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat CYP450 Antibody is added and binds to CYP450 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CYP450 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Rat CYP450. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is expressed on the surface of T cells. It regulates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene results in an inability to undergo immunoglobulin class switch and is associated with hyper-IgM syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Cytokine that binds to CD40/TNFRSF5 (PubMed:1280226). Costimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Its cross-linking on T-cells generates a costimulatory signal which enhances the production of IL4 and IL10 in conjunction with the TCR/CD3 ligation and CD28 costimulation (PubMed:8617933). Induces the activation of NF-kappa-B and kinases MAPK8 and PAK2 in T-cells. Induces tyrosine phosphorylation of isoform 3 of CD28 (PubMed:15067037). Mediates B-cell proliferation in the absence of co-stimulus as well as IgE production in the presence of IL4. Involved in immunoglobulin class switching ().

The Rat CD40LG cd40lg (Catalog #AAA1600697) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1600697 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat CD40LG. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Glycoprotein 39, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
