Rat Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit (GCLM) ELISA Kit | GCLM elisa kit
Rat Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit (GCLM) ELISA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit (GCLM) and analogues was observed.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Glutamate-cysteine ligase, also known as gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase, is the first rate limiting enzyme of glutathione synthesis. The enzyme consists of two subunits, a heavy catalytic subunit and a light regulatory subunit. Gamma glutamylcysteine synthetase deficiency has been implicated in some forms of hemolytic anemia. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2015]

Product Notes
The Rat GCLM gclm (Catalog #AAA2022418) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2022418 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat GCLM. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit (GCLM), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
