Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for BNIP3 clia kit
The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Bcl2/Adenovirus E1B 19kDa Interacting Protein 3 (BNIP3). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Bcl2/Adenovirus E1B 19kDa Interacting Protein 3 (BNIP3). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Bcl2/Adenovirus E1B 19kDa Interacting Protein 3 (BNIP3) level in the sample or standard.;

NCBI Description

This gene is encodes a mitochondrial protein that contains a BH3 domain and acts as a pro-apoptotic factor. The encoded protein interacts with anti-apoptotic proteins, including the E1B 19 kDa protein and Bcl2. This gene is silenced in tumors by DNA methylation. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2014]

Uniprot Description

BNIP3: Apoptosis-inducing protein that, which can overcome BCL2 suppression. May play a role in repartitioning calcium between the two major intracellular calcium stores in association with BCL2. Homodimer. Binds to BCL2. Interacts with BNIP3L and ACAA2. Also can interact with adenovirus E1B 19 kDa protein or Epstein-Barr virus BHRF1. Belongs to the NIP3 family.

Product Notes

The Rat BNIP3 bnip3 (Catalog #AAA2000625) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2000625 CLIA Kit recognizes Rat BNIP3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Bcl2/Adenovirus E1B 19kDa Interacting Protein 3 (BNIP3), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
