Axl positive control
Axl Positive Control
Receptor tyrosine kinase that transduces signals from the ECM into cytoplasm by binding growth factor GAS6. Regulates survival, proliferation, migration and differentiation.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
AXL: a receptor tyrosine kinase that may function as a signal transducer between specific cell types of mesodermal origin. Interacts with SKP1. Overexpression in tissue culture causes oncogenic transformation. Overexpressed in several cancers including thyroid, ovarian, gastric, ER+ breast cancer and acute myeloid leukemia, where it is associated with poor prognosis. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Axl axl (Catalog #AAA542554) is a Positive Control and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Axl can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Axl axl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Axl, Positive Control" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
