Rabbit anti-Human ZNF81 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ZNF81 antibody
ZNF81 Antibody (N-term)
WB~~1:1000
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent confocal image of U251 cell stained with ZNF81 Antibody (N-term). U251 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with ZNF81 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min).ZNF81 immunoreactivity is localized to Vesicles significantly and Cytoplasm weakly.)
Western Blot (WB)
(ZNF81 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ZNF81 antibody detected the ZNF81 protein (arrow).)
transcription factor. The protein contains an N-terminal KRAB
domain and several C2H2-type zinc finger motifs. Mutations in this
gene cause mental retardation X-linked type 45 (MRX45). [provided

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that likely functions as a transcription factor. The protein contains an N-terminal KRAB domain and several C2H2-type zinc finger motifs. Mutations in this gene cause mental retardation X-linked type 45 (MRX45). [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description
ZNF81: May be involved in transcriptional regulation. Defects in ZNF81 are the cause of mental retardation X- linked type 45 (MRX45). Mental retardation is characterized by significantly sub-average general intellectual functioning associated with impairments in adaptative behavior and manifested during the developmental period. Non-syndromic mental retardation patients do not manifest other clinical signs. A chromosomal aberration involving ZNF81 is found in a severe mental retardation patient. Translocation t(X;9)(p11.23;q34.3). Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.
Protein type: C2H2-type zinc finger protein; DNA-binding
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: Xp11.23
Cellular Component: nucleus
Molecular Function: DNA binding; metal ion binding; transcription factor activity
Biological Process: transcription, DNA-dependent; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent
Disease: Mental Retardation, X-linked 45

Product Notes
The ZNF81 znf81 (Catalog #AAA9213097) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 169-197. The ZNF81 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZNF81 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IF~~1:10~50 WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZNF81 znf81 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZNF81, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
