Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored at 2-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human ZNF232 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.)

ZNF232 (Zinc Finger Protein 232, also known as ZSCAN11) is mapped to human chromosome 17p12. The coding region of the gene is organized in three exons corresponding to a 417 amino acid long polypeptide containing a SCAN/LeR domain and five C(2)H(2)-type zinc fingers. ZNF232 is possibly a nuclear protein, as suggested by expression analysis of GFP/ZNF232 chimeric constructs. The ZNF232 protein is ubiquitously expressed in ovary, testis and other tissues. The gene is possibly subjected to tissue-specific post-transcriptional regulation by means of alternative splicing. ZNF232 is related to nucleic acid binding and DNA-binding transcription factor activity. An important paralog of this gene is ZNF397.
