This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against UBAP1. It was validated on Western Blot

Target Description: This gene is a member of the UBA domain family, whose members include proteins having connections to ubiquitin and the ubiquitination pathway. The ubiquitin associated domain is thought to be a non-covalent ubiquitin binding domain consisting of a compact three helix bundle. This particular protein originates from a gene locus in a refined region on chromosome 9 undergoing loss of heterozygosity in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Taking into account its cytogenetic location, this UBA domain family member is being studies as a putative target for mutation in nasopharyngeal carcinomas. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Product Notes

The UBAP1 ubap1 (Catalog #AAA3219285) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The UBAP1 Antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's UBAP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UBAP1 ubap1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: HTLGLSALNL DSGTEMPALT SSQMPSLSVL SVCTEESSPP NTGPTVTPPN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "UBAP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
