NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
human homolog induces activation of NF-kappaB; mouse homolog plays a role in the production of inflammatory cytokines [RGD]
Uniprot Description
TLR3: a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. Most abundantly expressed in placenta and pancreas. Restricted to the dendritic subpopulation of the leukocytes. It recognizes dsRNA associated with viral infection. Acts via MyD88 and TRAF6, leading to the activation of NF-kappaB and the production of type I interferon.

Product Notes
The Tlr3 tlr3 (Catalog #AAA194448) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Toll-like Receptor 3 (TLR3) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Western Blotting: use at 1-2ug/ml. A band of approximately 97 kDa is detected. Immunohistochemistry: formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues, use at 5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Tlr3 tlr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Toll-like Receptor 3 (TLR3), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
