Related Product Information for anti-TNFRSF25 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against TNFRSF25. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: TNFRSF25 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is expressed preferentially in the tissues enriched in lymphocytes, and it may play a role in regulating lymphocyte homeostasis. This receptor has been shown to stimulate NF-kappa B activity and regulate cell apoptosis. The signal transduction of this receptor is mediated by various death domain containing adaptor proteins. Knockout studies in mice suggested the role of this gene in the removal of self-reactive T cells in the thymus. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported, most of which are potentially secreted molecules. The alternative splicing of this gene in B and T cells encounters a programmed change upon T-cell activation, which predominantly produces full-length, membrane bound isoforms, and is thought to be involved in controlling lymphocyte proliferation induced by T-cell activation. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. Uniprot Description

TNFRSF25: Receptor for TNFSF12/APO3L/TWEAK. Interacts directly with the adapter TRADD. Mediates activation of NF-kappa-B and induces apoptosis. May play a role in regulating lymphocyte homeostasis. Homodimer. Interacts strongly via the death domains with TNFRSF1 and TRADD to activate at least two distinct signaling cascades, apoptosis and NF-kappa-B signaling. Interacts with BAG4. Abundantly expressed in thymocytes and lymphocytes. Detected in lymphocyte-rich tissues such as thymus, colon, intestine, and spleen. Also found in the prostate. 12 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The TNFRSF25 tnfrsf25 (Catalog #AAA3224363) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TNFRSF25 antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TNFRSF25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFRSF25 tnfrsf25 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: GRFRDQQYEM LKRWRQQQPA GLGAVYAALE RMGLDGCVED LRSRLQRGP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TNFRSF25, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
