Related Product Information for anti-TMCC2 antibody
TMCC2 (Transmembrane And Coiled-Coil Domain Family 2, also known as HUCEP11) is a Protein Coding gene. The TMCC2 gene, located on 1q32.1, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. An important paralog of this gene is TMCC1. TMCC2 is a neuronal, predominantly ER-localized, protein that co-migrated with AbetaPP during native gel electrophoresis of rat brain extracts, and co-immunoprecipitated with AbetaPP from transfected human cell lysates. TMCC2 may be involved in the regulation of the proteolytic processing of the amyloid precursor protein (APP) possibly also implicating APOE. 223 organisms have orthologs with the human gene TMCC2.

Product Notes

The TMCC2 (Catalog #AAA8109584) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TMCC2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TMCC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TMCC2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TMCC2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
