The AADACL4 gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. 81 organisms have orthologs with human gene AADACL4. AADACL4 is related to hydrolase activity and carboxylic ester hydrolase activity. An important paralog of this gene is AADACL3. AADACL4 is associated with some diseases, including Agnathia-Otocephaly Complex and Hypotonia-Cystinuria Syndrome.
