Related Product Information for anti-TGM1 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane protein that catalyzes the addition of an alkyl group from an akylamine to a glutamine residue of a protein, forming an alkylglutamine in the protein. This protein alkylation leads to crosslinking of proteins and catenation of polyamines to proteins. This gene contains either one or two copies of a 22 nt repeat unit in its 3' UTR. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive lamellar ichthyosis (LI) and nonbullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma (NCIE).

NCBI Description

This protein alkylation leads to crosslinking of proteins and catenation of polyamines to proteins. This gene contains either one or two copies of a 22 nt repeat unit in its 3' UTR. Uniprot Description

Catalyzes the cross-linking of proteins and the conjugation of polyamines to proteins. Responsible for cross-linking epidermal proteins during formation of the stratum corneum. Involved in cell proliferation (PubMed:26220141).

Product Notes

The TGM1 tgm1 (Catalog #AAA9133402) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TGM1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TGM1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500 - 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGM1 tgm1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: AGDGTIREGM LVVNGVDLLS SRSDQNRREH HTDEYEYDEL IVRRGQPFHM LLLLSRTYES SDRITLELLI GNNPEVGKGT HVIIPVGKGG SGGWKAQVVK ASGQNLNLRV HTSPNAIIGK FQFTVRTQSD AGEFQLPFDP RNEIYILFNP WCPEDIVYVD HEDWRQEYVL NESGRIYYGT E. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TGM1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
