Rabbit anti-Human STARD5 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-STARD5 antibody
STARD5 Antibody (N-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(STARD5 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the STARD5 antibody detected the STARD5 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(STARD5 Antibody (N-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human kidney tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of STARD5 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(STARD5 Antibody (N-term) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated donkey-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
sterol regulatory element (SRE)-binding proteins (e.g., SREBP1; MIM
184756) and by liver X receptors (e.g., LXRA; MIM 602423). Upon
sterol depletion, LXRs are inactive and SREBPs are cleaved, after
which they bind promoter SREs and activate genes involved in
cholesterol biosynthesis and uptake. Sterol transport is mediated
by vesicles or by soluble protein carriers, such as steroidogenic
acute regulatory protein (STAR; MIM 600617). STAR is homologous to
a family of proteins containing a 200- to 210-amino acid
STAR-related lipid transfer (START) domain, including STARD5

NCBI Description
Cholesterol homeostasis is regulated, at least in part, by sterol regulatory element (SRE)-binding proteins (e.g., SREBP1; MIM 184756) and by liver X receptors (e.g., LXRA; MIM 602423). Upon sterol depletion, LXRs are inactive and SREBPs are cleaved, after which they bind promoter SREs and activate genes involved in cholesterol biosynthesis and uptake. Product Notes
The STARD5 stard5 (Catalog #AAA9206037) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 26-55. The STARD5 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's STARD5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STARD5 stard5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "STARD5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
