Related Product Information for anti-SLC16A4 antibody
The SLC16A family of monocarboxylate transporters (MCTs) is a subfamily of solute carriers that transport monocarboxylate molecules, including L-lactate and pyruvate, across cell membranes. They are known to play an important role in cell metabolism, such as aerobic glycolysis and pH homeostasis. Currently, 14 gene members named SLC16A1 to SLC16A14 have been identified to have the presence of two highly conserved sequence regions located in TM1 and TM5, respectively, by topology study. MCT1 through MCT4 (MCTs 1-4) are H(+ )-coupled monocarboxylate transporters, MCT8 and MCT10 transport thyroid hormone and aromatic amino acids. SLC16A family members play crucial roles in tumorigenesis and tumor progression.

Product Notes

The SLC16A4 (Catalog #AAA8109892) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SLC16A4 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC16A4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC16A4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC16A4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
