Related Product Information for anti-RBFOX1 antibody
RBFOX1 (also known as FOX1 and A2BP1), an RNA splicing factor, regulates the expression of large genetic networks during early neuronal development, and haploinsufficiency causes severe neurodevelopmental phenotypes including autism spectrum disorder, mental retardation, epilepsy, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and schizophrenia. Human genetic studies have identified the neuronal RNA binding protein, Rbfox1, as a candidate gene for autism spectrum disorders. The RNA-binding protein RBFOX1 is an important regulator of neuron development and neuronal excitability. Rbfox1 is abundant in the vertebrate brain, heart, and skeletal muscle, and can regulate developmental and tissue-specific alternative splicing in heart, muscle, and neuronal tissues. The RBFOX1 protein and its homologs (RBFOX2 and RBFOX3) regulate alternative splicing of many neuronal transcripts involved in the homeostatic control of neuronal excitability.

Product Notes

The RBFOX1 (Catalog #AAA8109707) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-RBFOX1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RBFOX1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). IHC-P: 1:500-1:5000 ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RBFOX1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RBFOX1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
